Why convert invoices to Excel manually?
Re-typing every purchase invoice into a spreadsheet — the date, supplier name, invoice number, VAT number, and amounts — is slow and error-prone, especially across a folder of PDFs and photographed receipts in mixed formats. Voltax reads the invoice for you and writes the row directly into a VAT-ready sheet.
What file types are supported
PDF (including multi-invoice PDFs, which are automatically split into individual invoices), JPG, and PNG — up to 200 MB per batch. Scanned photos of paper invoices work the same way as digital PDFs; Voltax reads both using AI vision extraction, cross-checked against the ZATCA QR code when one is printed on the invoice.
What lands in your Excel sheet
Every extracted invoice becomes one row: date, supplier, invoice number, VAT number, taxable amount, VAT at 15%, and total. Rows extracted without QR confirmation are marked for review; rows where the 15% calculation doesn't match what's printed are flagged in red. Duplicate invoices (same invoice number and VAT number) are automatically skipped, not double-counted.
